Interesting! Have never seen or even heard of that configuration. Perfect for Wharncliffe fans!Copperhead has two Wharncliffe blades
I've never seen one either, I was looking for a Case Wharncliffe copperhead on a dealer's site and I stumbled on that one.Interesting! Have never seen or even heard of that configuration. Perfect for Wharncliffe fans!
Well that is just the oddest thing. I had to go Google it, and sure enough, there are not only double-Wharncliffe models, but some of them have two *serrated* Wharncliffes. The Copperhead has two Wharncliffe blades
Yes, a full sized Wharncliffe with a regular clip blade would be ideal.Well that is just the oddest thing. I had to go Google it, and sure enough, there are not only double-Wharncliffe models, but some of them have two *serrated* Wharncliffes.
I am a fan of the Copperhead pattern myself. I have versions with the Wharncliffe main and pen secondary, and clip main and pen secondary.
I always thought that the perfect knife in that size range would be one with the regular clip and a full-length Wharncliffe. The only one I have ever seen like that was a Case 0200 SFO model that Jeff (black mamba ) occasionally trots out a photo of to torment me with.
But instead of making those, they are going with double-Wharncliffes.![]()
I just got these last week.
The Copperhead has two Wharncliffe blades and the Stockman is black Delrin.

The Copperhead has white synthetic scales, but is offered in white smooth bone too ( for $10 more). The F&F on my knife is spot on... good grind, no wobble... a little light on the pull, but I like it that way. Both look lovely - hows the F&F? Which handles are on the Copperhead, and where did you get it? I might just have to pick one up!
I bet.I regret letting that one go.

Ah, yeah, that top one is just like Jeff's! The 0200WHSS! I have a different 0200 pattern which has a long spey as the secondary but the same pointy Copperhead clip, with some kind of deep carved dark brown bone. So it has something of a Trapper blade combo on a Copperhead Frame. I think I may have even bought that one from Jeff through the Exchange here.I have these two.
