Yes, it is a 32, my favorite size for Texas Jacks. When it was new I thought it was a bit pale so I gave it a hot tea bath.
Now after several years of use it has gracefully aged into what you see today. In other words I just got lucky with the color.

I don’t, at least not anymore.

The lockback was carried, or kept handy in a pack or case, and used heavily 1988-1998. Since then it has been used less, but has always been within easy reach.

I got the slipjoint as a child in the 1970’s, and I seem to remember it being too hard for my little fingers to open at the time. I think I carried it daily from 1993 until around 2002 or so.

Nowadays I prefer large single-blade knives like the other two. Oddly, when I first encountered them more than 30 years ago, I thought they were weird and chintzy. Since reacquiring these examples though, they seem to suit “older-me”’s needs better.

I have zero interest in Case’s new offerings.
