Mine has been turning a bit green too over the last couple of years. Not quite as stunning as yours, but maybe time will change that.

Took these old ones out to sharpen. The canoe was re-scaled last year. I soaked the stockman in coffee to try to darken the scales but they just turned out grungy looking.

Still razor sharp, though. Fantastic Case designs.

E ErikMB I think they both look good and match. I don’t go for the amber bone much because I like darker handles, anything to darken them helps. Case had a limited run color (Antique) back in the late 90’s and early 2000’s that was essentially the amber bone but with more “oatmeal” color in the light areas, it would have been a good choice if they offered more of it - I only got one of them, this 6147 - looks a lot like your 6318. OH

My amber 92 I think has really darkened up personally.

A couple of years old.(Actually it was already 25 years old when I bought it.) I bought it in 2015. Picture about 2017 or so.




Now.Maybe it’s the 3in1 oil.

Still carrying and using the Case teardrop in dichrolam, posted earlier.
The blade edge looks toothy but cuts like a razor. I am still worrying about scratching it.
