I usually carry a mini trapper as a secondary knife most days. There are a few of my favorites.

Thank you. I carry a bigger modern folder every day so the mini is perfect for a secondary in 5th pocket. Been carrying one with 1095 lately. Patina looks great!Might of found someone that likes many trappers as much as me. Very nice looking ones there.
I use the word awesome sparingly, but that's awesome. (And I'm not talking about the knife.)We had a wonderful evening last night taking our daughter to the Tim Tebow Night to Shine Prom at a local Baptist Church. Of course I needed to carry a ceremonial knife that was appropriate for the occasion. This pearl handled Case Sleeveboard Pen had the honors. Lots of thanks from our family to the Tim Tebow Foundation, Cape Carteret Baptist Church, and several sharp young Marines who served as escorts. OH

Never in 100 years would I have purchased the Backpocket; I just don’t like large knives. 3 5/8” closed is my sweet spot. I got this in a trade and it’s just extraordinary. An entire cows shin bone was sacrificed for those big beautiful jigged slabs! Maybe I need to start expanding my tastes towards larger knives.
Case’s 6254 is already their most popular pattern by far; if they made single blade barehead trappers on that pattern, they’d sell even more. Those Wilfred lockbacks are big and beautiful. After a while they all carry nicely although I do appreciate them not turning sideways in the pocket. I’m very much preferring 4” and larger knives these days.

Never anything boring about a well made Case.

A new addition to the Case family.
Sorry...not well versed in Cases...the only number on blade is 6547 HP. Late 60's age wise.Very nice! Is that an 18 pattern?
Ahh, the 47 pattern then! I should've known from the clip. But, the 47 is just like a larger 18 basicallySorry...not well versed in Cases...the only number on blade is 6547 HP. Late 60's age wise.
