Been a very busy week here, my wife is recuperating from a scheduled surgery she had this past Monday, so I have been looking after her, our daughter, and doing my chores and her chores as well. I'm not good at laundry and our Kenmore washer / dryer combo controls look like a NASA capsule - but I'm getting there. Taking a break right now and reading Blade Forums while I tie some additional Shad rigs. Using my Case 6318SS to trim tags, etc. Got to head to the grocery store soon and come up with tonight's dinner. She has wonderful friends though; we have had two different lasagnas, some chili, and baked chicken from four of her girlfriends (even had to freeze some for later) - man, them ladies can cook! Got no complaints, it's been a good week, and next week I will still get to do a bird hunt midweek. OH

Here's to a speedy recovery for the missus 👍🤞

I know what you mean about the washer. I just had to replace my 37 year old Montgomery Ward washer. The first thing I told the appliance lady was that I didn't need a washing machine that could send emails, or use my iPhone to call the refrigerator o_O

Thank you, she is doing very well so far.

You got me laughing real good - my feelings exactly, cannot imagine why a refrigerator needs WiFi. OH

Hope your wife recovers fully and quickly, the washer and dryer functions right when she is recovered and new wardrobes are not needed. Good luck on next week's bird hunt

Hopefully the wife has a speedy recovery. I understand the washer issue. We bought a new washer a couple of years ago and it has all this digital garbage on it. It beeps an dings and everything else. My wife went out of town about a year ago and I had to call her to figure the thing out.

Old Hunter Old Hunter best wishes to you and your family, sending Power :D

Gentlemen, I thank each of you for the well wishes for my wife, myself, and my family. We are doing fine and she is doing very well. She told me tonight after dinner that she wants me to go fishing tomorrow, as she needs a break from so much attention! I’ll try to do that so as to make her happy! 😁

It is nice to know that vows still mean what they say, “For better or worse, in sickness or in health”. Well done! 😀

Don't often carry this one anymore but today I will. 2010 Case 22087 SS jackknife. Many of my knives I either don't remember where/when I bought them or I only have a vague memory. This one I clearly remember buying the morning of Christmas Eve 2010 at Garris Evans Lumber Co. I talked a minute with the counter guy about old time pocketknives as he was ringing it up. OH
