Who still carries a Case Knife?

I don’t know how many times I have said or thought, “Man, Case REALLY does good jigged bone.” But, man, Case REALLY does good jigged bone.

I have a bunch of GECs that I love and a few other classic brands, but nothing looks as good as Case’s jigged bone from this era.
Agreed!

I keep forgetting to give a little love to the Case threads. Using this as needed today.

And you.... you are doing it to me with those tribal Locks. That and the wooden one, thanks for sharing, very nice.

OH wow, it fooled me. Very nice indeed.

Yeah, the Tribal Lock and almost matching Barlow have a grain structure to the bone with a very wood-like look to them. They feel nice in the hand as well, IMHO.

I like the story behind the tribal lock. Tony designed it so it would be thin and unobtrusive yet large enough to handle a deer should the need arise, according to the story I heard. That's always stuck with me. I've always thought the TL would be a good companion with a medium stockman.

Not sure of the background myself.

TLs are a nice size. Not too big, not small. And as slim as they are, an easy carry.

I've never had a mini trapper. My wife does and she loves hers. But I've not carried it or used it to any extent. I like my full sized trapper better in hand, but I never carry it because I carry the 75 pattern jumbo stockman. So, maybe a mini trapper would be right for the watch pocket? I'll have to try one.

I tried a swayback and it was eh... I like a blade with some belly. But I tried in store a teardrop and I liked the way it felt in hand, so.... I'll probably get one of them to try more extensively someday. It looks funky, but, also elegant.
