Who still carries a Case Knife?

Old pocket worn red bone medium stockman helped making strawberry jam.

I like American whiskey and I like this American Whiskeybone knife

@Primble You're right about knives being turned loose and never coming back, likely fish too, I can't say the same about some ex-GFs though... Must be the magnets in my heart...o_O
you are lucky, the rivets of your knife seem to be well shaved.
And the stain on the bone is well distributed.
I didn't get a good deal on the finish on mine.
Since I like these Tribal locks I will change the plates to make it nicer.

I can quite a bit of blackberry jam. Your strawberry looks delicious! We planted just a few strawberries last year. They've already bloomed so may not be long before we get to try our first. Hoping to eventually have enough to can in the future!!

And what a gorgeous picture with the red bone on that case knife. Thanks for sharing!!

Thank you! It also tastes delicious, and the stockman has a nice blade combination for this task. Blackberry sounds really good too, I will keep that in mind for the next round.
Self planted strawberries are most flavorful, good look with your cooking! To the jam sugar I added the juice of a lemon, for a better gelation and taste.

Well yes, CASE generally do a fine job on the pins, these are domed and the smaller ones flush. I have got a lot of stick from GEC fans for pointing out that GEC often do an inferior job to CASE with their pin finish, their tendency to have big sink-holes esp. on wood but apparently there's no need to criticise & no way to avoid this 'reality'

The Bone is darker due to a very successful tea-dye bath, had very good results on Bone and Stag with this but it takes some nerve. I think your recovering option sounds exciting, pity to lose the Pewter coloured CASE shield though, one of their better ones.

Thanks, Will
