Maybe you should put that Case away and grab that Buffalo thumper .577 NEMy well used Case XX Trapper, 1940 -1964, in a humongous, fresh grizzly bear track on this evenings hike. Gets your attention.

I hope your quest proves fruitful Alan. The saddlehorn is an outstanding pattern I think you'll like. Not at the moment, but I have in the past. And if my chase for a very particular pattern is fruitful, I will again. This one.View attachment 2223636
Nice selection.Haven't been posting much recently, still carrying Case, still my most prolific brand, usually maybe one a week. Every month or so I have a week full of Case. My pocket companions for this week:

Nice selection.I really like that smooth red bone with pvd(?) blades.
Thanks James. It's a small single blade. I've been carrying the Rough Ryder bow trapper which is not a bad substitute.I hope your quest proves fruitful Alan. The saddlehorn is an outstanding pattern I think you'll like.

I do agree! The older 6332's has turned into one of my favorite patterns of all time. It is the only factory mass produced 3 bladed knife I'm aware of with half stops on all blades. And, I feel the reverse gunstock pattern gives it a nice shape in hand and gorgeous curves. I was carrying it for months on end once I picked it up in the mail. It finally made it out my pocket, but quickly found its way back in. You have a nice one there with quite a bit of character. Very nice!!Carrying this old 6332 today. Pretty much stock knife perfection!View attachment 2217747View attachment 2217762View attachment 2217766View attachment 2217767View attachment 2217771
