I see a lot of the 18 pattern being shown lately and no surprise, it's a wonderful compact Stockman but a serious pocket-knife as well. I feel I could do with another stainless one but which scales to go for? I have a well-loved Amber Bone stainless, Bonestag 6.5 cv and Red Jigged carbon (thanks toCase 6318 stockman, 1095 carbon steel. I picked this one out at smkw, the action is wonderful with minimal blade rub. It’s a fantastic little knife.
