This 6318pu is an old friend, Today I took it out of the semiretirement it’s in to follow along in my pocket for the day.
It’s weird how your hands recognise the shape and feeling instantaneously

Pre-Christmas chore's around the house this afternoon, have my most carried chore knife in my pocket. OH

Just acquired this Slim Trapper over the weekend; a gift from an old friend cleaning out his den!! 1982 knife, patinaed but hardly used. Once white, in those years, these handles are noted for a pin crack somewhere, usually!! I guess the material was brittle, or Case hadn't perfected the installation of the specific material. Anyway, the cracks don't hurt the usefulness one bit!! Time to hone it!!

Went out for a late season deer hunt this afternoon (mostly to check on the property after the NorthEaster moved out and after the loggers were in cutting over the last two weeks). I had this 1980 3318 HE in my pocket - good color for having in the woods, a little easier to spot when you lay it down. OH
