Who still carries a Case Knife?

Carried this one on Sunday for a walk along the Fox River with the Mrs. . Posted it elsewhere but forgot to post it here.

What ever happened to carbon and chestnut bone? That was the best and most classic configuration. I dont even see any more chestnut

Capt. Carl Capt. Carl good question, at one time the Chestnut bone color was as prolific as Amber bone in Case displays at hardware stores, etc. I hold on to the ones I have, as finding them is a very occasional thing nowadays. OH
That's a great looking canoe!

I got a chestnut sodbuster before I knew they were disappearing, but had to hunt around a bit for a chestnut peanut. I really like them both, but that peanut is fantastic!

This 32 pattern carbon steel Stockman was made last year. I am happy to say that it is just about perfect. Snappy, tight, an all around great build. Case still makes great knives, you just have to pick carefully. As much as I love the 18’s, I believe I slightly prefer the 32.
Very rewarding example Greg, Amber Bone is an attractive choice . Never resolved my preference for the 18 or the 32...except that they're nicely different yet are both masterful Medium Stockman, just great knives all round  I need to find a stainless 32 in nice bone.

Thanks, Will

On Sundays I carry my Case "church knife", a small synthetic standard jig stockman [6333 SS0]. I prefer 3 or 4 blade knives for versatility. Inconspicuous in pocket or in hand. Carry it in sport coat or suit coat hip pocket. Most other times I carry my SAK Tinker. The various tools, especially screwdrivers, toothpick, and tweezers often come in handy. The blades are not bad either.
