Who still carries a Case Knife?

nice knives. great photography. I only have my old smartphone for photography and am not much of a photographer. Any tips?
The easiest way to go is to take pictures outside in the daytime, butin the shade. A lot of guys take a picture with their knife on a rock or on a tree stump, but the best pictures are always in natural light, in the shade. A lot of my pictures are just holding the knife in my hand, but in the shade. That works too.

This is good advice. My best pics are almost always in natural light.
I take pics from my phone as well. I'm not a photographer either but I'm slowly getting better. The hardest part for me is always catching the reflection & angles right. Pocket knives can be notoriously hard to take a photo of because of this.

What works for me is to just check out & see what everyone is posting & get ideas from them. It doesn't have to be exactly like they do but it'll give you something to think about for your next pic. I've gotten plenty of ideas from the porch to help me improve my photo taking. There's a lot of great photographers around here. You just got to play around & experiment. The good thing with a phone is you don't have to worry about wasting film like back in the day, if you don't like it you can just delete it & take another one. That's what I do anyway.

Good luck!

This week I'm carrying the 3 blade/3 spring version of the 5247 PEN I carried last week....
This is the Bradford Cutlery (Case made) 5347, in pretty evenly matched stag... which is a little unusual for Case, in my experience. It seems most often, one side is really nice stag, and the other side is pretty plain... The watch pocket carry is the yellow delrin 32087.... it's pretty evenly matched, as well... 😁
The 5347 is SS, and the pen knife is CV....

The smokey valley sunset orange bone in carbon steel has been restocked on a bunch of models.

I've been checking on the razor in this material pretty much every day for, I dunno, 6-7 months and finally have one coming.

I don't think it gets any better than Case orange bone in it's few flavors!

That’s pretty. I might have to take a look.

I swapped out the 3 blade 47 as a main carry with this.... I don't carry this one as much as I should. It's a great pattern, and Case usually does a very nice job on them.... the watch pocket knife is still the same yeller delrin pen....
This one is whiskey bone (IIRC) and CV steel... it takes and holds a very nice edge...
