Who still carries a Case Knife?

Not so sure I'll be using this (Ref: #5 above), but it's in my pocket for a day or two anyway. Case 31749L CV #30116 Mini-Copperlock, Yellow Synthetic (Delrin)

Close to mint and gifted to me couple of years back by a good friend, yet I'm still trying to figure out the tang stamp. Of all of the Case tang stamp sources I've found, I see none (zero) with this particular stamping pattern (layout).

I've found them with a Lightning S, but no knife pattern number. I'm presently thinking it is a 2021. Can, or will, anyone help me out by directing me to a chart that lists this particular stamping layout or verify my conclusion please?

YES... you are correct... the new tang stamp for 2020 going forward.... if it is like Case's other stamps, the lightning S denotes stainless steel... this one had the rounded S, because it's CV steel.

Okay. I take back those 1970's bad things I was thinking about you. Heh-Heh! This explains it perfectly (if one can keep up with how fast those two are talking). Thanks a bunch. Now someone needs to scour the web and update all of those old charts. Umm, nope, not me.

Alas the only Case I have is pretty beat up so is regulated to garage duty and is stored in a tool cabinet of mine.
Case knives are tough and look great with some character, sounds like a great little project! I'd pull it out and polish any corrosion on the blades bolsters and springs, then give it a fresh edge and oil the joints. 👍
