Who still carries a Case Knife?

pat9198 pat9198 - fine looking jigging and color on your Mini-Trapper - Case at it's best. I also like the XX shield, so much better than the script Case shield of the last 25 years.

Carrying a SS Rough Black 18 pattern today - this is one of my best in F&F and W&T of recent years (2015) production.

Thank you OH. :) I agree with you about the shield, seems like they have tens of "special edition" shields they could use instead that would look better. As I've gotten older, I can't even read the Case on the script shield anymore.

No pics and it never happened! Let’s see em
Im currently in Myrtle beach taking care of family with my wife. Im going home to pa in a week , I’ll post to this thread when I get home. Two years in mb is enough. I just wanna get home for a while. Gimme a couple of weeks and I’ll revisit this post. If you look me up in the search for traditional I’ve posted a few pics in the last 20 or so years.

I've been looking for a used wharncliffe mini trapper at a good price for a little bit. Yours is very nice! I'm surprised more manufacturers don't make this pattern... Been hoping for CV or CS in covers I like, can be a little tough to find 🫤 Most seem to be SS. A perfect blade combo though packaged in a perfectly medium sized knife!

Some really great knives here! I really do think Case has the best jigged bone in town.

I've been on a bit of a spending freeze lately, but sometimes you have to make exceptions. The Cutler was a little heavy handed and the bolster is a bit wavy, but otherwise, excellent - tight and centered with a pointy tip!
