Great looking knife Bruce, I really need to pick up a 70s era Case. For the last three days, this mid 1970's Case 6207 with Delrin handles. Hard snap but moderate opening force - made just right and still just right. OH

Indeed, if you love good pocketknives and have never owned a decent Case from the 1970’s you owe it to yourself to try one. Warning, it’s a long and slippery slope (but you will be happy to own one), OHGreat looking knife Bruce, I really need to pick up a 70s era Case.![]()
WOW, what do they call that color, i don't know if i have ever seen that on a Case before. Looks fantastic.Took the boat to the Pamlico River today and met up with my oldest daughter and her husband. We had anchored for lunch when my wife and daughter began that “I thought you had the knife for the sandwiches“ conversation with each other. Guess who had an adequate size pocketknife with him? You guessed it (we live for those occasions don’t we? OH

As I recall that was your first modification of a blade - still looks good and has got to be a great mod for usefulness. OH
Great post Gary! Love the Sodbuster Jr, I have one also, and that canoe is spectacular. Are you at the Chris-Craft regalia you mentioned before?I still carry a Case on occasion. For the past week I've been carrying

What a beast that must have been. We’re passing through your part of the country tomorrow. Got the whole family, including my 86 year old mother-n-law with us. We’re going to drop her off in Big Rapids to visit her sister, and the rest of us are going on up to Traverse City for the rest of the week, kind of an anniversary trip. Haven’t been there since 1993. Looking forward to seeing some cool boats, and of course, I’ll have my Jack with me.One of the boats I saw had FOUR 400hp outboards (don't remember if they were Mercury or Yamaha) hanging off the back; it was one of many monsters docked there on Friday late afternoon.
