Who still carries a Case Knife?

Cool knife... Cool picture. 🤠

I did Mike, I almost didn’t see it. They had stainless on the top shelf and on the bottom shelf in the back was the CV version. It was kinda funny because I kept asking to see knives with CV steel and the lady that was helping me said, “You know these knives will stain and rust don’t you?” As if that’s a bad thing. 😄
A couple of years ago I was looking for a whiskey bone CV tribal lock in a store and almost gave up until I discovered that the CV knives had their own little display cabinet. (That was a good day -- bought the tribal lock, a Buck 112LT, and a Vic minichamp, and met Tony Bose.)

Yes, I’d say that was a good day! 😊👍

The last two Case pocketknives I bought new from hardware stores (a 3207 & a 3318) I looked first for SS, but all they had in stock were CV - like CV too, so I bought them but given the choice would have taken stainless. OH

I think I’m the exact opposite Bruce. I have lots of SS knives, and have no problem with them. In fact, the only way I won’t buy SS, is if there a CV option for the same pattern. 😄 👍

All of my case knives are SS. I would prefer CV, but I make my choices in the pattern/cover material combo
Same here... I choose the pattern and cover material first, then whatever blade steel that has is what I get. If there is a choice (which is seldom) I'll choose CV, but it's not a deal breaker.
