Entry, and thank you!

I don't know if I'd say my "gateway" was a Delica I believe I bought from Sal way back when he was selling them at the fair (and nobody had ever seen a pocket clip or one-hand opener, and the only lock-back most had ever seen was a Buck) or my Busse FSH. I do love the Leeks, though- one at my TV chair and one at my office desk. Great knife!

Entry!! I cant post pics with my phone but must say Kershaw is one of the all time best knife companys. I had a blue smoke handled leek that I gold plated the blade and clip on and engaved my dads initials on and gave to him for his birthday years back. That was my first "premium" knife I owned and still miss to this day. My dad loves it tho and takes good care of it and thats whats important. Thanks for the opportunity and good luck to all.

Entry! My first nice knife is a Spyderco Southard with Cuscadi gold wire CF scales. Started a $3000 (and counting) Spyderco collection! Thanks for the opportunity, I had a Leek once and it was fun to play with!

NOT AN ENTRY! but thanks for the chance and the GAW. I also love the pic of your doggy! (That is your doggy right?)

Entry. My gateway knife is a Puma Hunter's Pal. Back when Puma was a thing. I still have it. Thanks.

Not an entry, as I am looking for a Leek Rainbow and there is no point in having 2 Leeks :D
Thank you for the generosity though.
My gateway knife was a Victorinox Tinker... I just fell in love of the thing... and I still carry it.. have over 50 saks and dozens of other sharp things but that Tinker is still in my pocket...

One cannot have too many Leeks. :D

not an entry, but Thanks for the great GAW!

I always say that you can't have too many knives. That was before I saw codycash's collection. You Sir may be at the point just after enough and just before too many. Lucky Dog!

My top drawer of my nightstand where the large majority of my edc's are kept... (There's more, larger and fixed blades in the bottom drawer)...

Actually in the process of making a new home for them in an old tackle box I cleaned up a bit...

The kershaw's, minus a few Blurs I picked up since this picture was taken; the leek pictured was actually a blem I wound up gifting to my sister, (so I can definitely use a new one), and the hanging kydex sheath blur is my work one pictured below, while the OD green one is my edc one you see in my top drawer (pictured above).
(My ELMAX blur that I carry I keep in my jewelry box.)

The work Knives, on a shelf as I head to the garage...

I always liked Knives, but my "sickness" actually came with a fascination of steel more then just the Knives themselves... The more I learned (and continue to learn) about the steel process, the more I want more Knives...

Like you my first "real" knife was a Leek. These three were my only three knives for a long time. All gifts from my then girlfriend, now wife. In the order I received them, from top to bottom.

Well shoot I'm in! My gateway knife was a kershaw skyline that I bought just about four years ago after watching youtube reviews. Since then I've had over a hundred go through my hands but ironically never a leek!

Entry. Thanks for the chance! My gateway knife was a Buck 110 that my buddy got for me while on a vacation. I love everything about the brand, so I began collecting them. That leek looks great for just about anything. Good luck:thumbup:
