Then after I grew up (well ... grew up a little bit anyway) my girlfriend & I went to Grateful Dead concerts dressed as Dr. Strange & Clea....
I don't think I can explain this ... but this makes perfect sense to me.

Only read the first page so far, but Ithink the Shang Chi: Master of Kung Fu was my fav. Followed by Dr.Strange, Spiderman, Hulk, Wolverine. Silver Surfer, And you can`t forget Sgt. Rock and Easy Company. Holy cow! I almost forgot Captain America! He was the best!

Flash was my main comic book hero
My dog was named Flash
Even before Roscoe P. Coltrane's Flash!!
I had all my comic books and Mad Magazines stashed in my mom's shed
There they sat for 15 years
I went out to check them out and the fricking termites destroyed them!!
They had tunnels going from my Legions of Super Heroes all the way to my Yang!!
I am still devastated to this day
I had quite a Mad Magazine collection too...
My dog was named Flash
Even before Roscoe P. Coltrane's Flash!!

If given a choice I was always an Alfred E. Newman man. Thankfully that hasn't warped my fine sense of humor as an adult. 
We didn't get many comics but the Daredevil was always my favorite. Sgt Rock as well.
Another one was the Warlord. As far as I know, it wasn't that popular but he was a kick butt dude who wandered from our time into some weird inner earth dimension that was sword and sorcery. So he used a sword and a .44 auto. :thumbup:
I never liked Superman as I felt he was a cop out dreamed up by the equivalent of the 5 year old mentality of ubber everything.
