Who Went to Oregon?? Post Your Booty!!

My son and will be there on Saturday . We went last year and had a great time . This year will be even better .

Here's the link for the show information. Hit it, scroll down for all kinds of information .
Eugene is a quaint little city. Lots of nice old houses & stores, and it is a college town.
We eat breakfast at the Keystone, and the Knife show is 6-7 minutes from there. We stay at the Courtesy Inn which is one block from the Keystone!!

I look forward to seeing you and Wendy again, Derrick!
What are your table numbers?

Hope you all have a great time :) Be nice to see a few pics  If Charlie looks even younger than he did last year, I'm going to be coming over to rifle his attic! ;)

I'll have the pleasure of sharing Charlie's table. My name is Rick. Will have stuff to trade. I collect old Bowies. See you all there BF members.

I would soooo love to go and my wife asked me what the dates are :D but alas I can't get vacation time till the 25th :o. I hope everyone has a great time :) and I too look forward to any photos.

I'd love to be there, but alas, funds never allow.

I am also not able to attend the Seattle knife show even 5 hough it is only 3 hours by car.

But that is the life of a public defender!

Will definitely come by your table, Derrick! Jack, I am taking my camera and will get quite a few shots of the show. Plan on being there the whole time so get ready!

Derrick Bohn's table is K4. A must visit. See you there.

To find the alphabetical listing by last name of table holders: Visit this link http://www.oregonknifeclub.org/okcashow.html then click on site map then click on very last link for table holder list. What I do is print out the table floor plan then highlight the priority target tables. Here is this year's hit list as mangled by me:

I was thinking of swinging a last minute gig out there, but there's not that many venues at the moment. I did a show at one of the old burlesque venues a few weeks ago, great time!

I hope you all have a great time at the show. safe travels and don't go stupid with the credit card.
sassen rassen scrussen too far away knife shows kraggenskraggen:grumpy:

Whats worse is SWMBO said "you should go to one of the knifey shows"
muuuhaahha maybe I will sweety maybe I will:D

I would love to go, if only to sit and pick Charlies brain.

It's pretty slim pickin's, SHS! The excitement has got me flying high, and suddenly wide awake at 3:00 AM!
It has been that delightful mix of great people and great knives. Non-stop banter, and CFing and CEing some cool cutlery is like being a kid again, looking for the next adventure!
I wish I was more picture proficient, but I am sure we'll see some soon! Yesterday was setup day, club members only, and less formal. In a few hours it will be full-on public knife intensity!! I managed to pick up a half a dozen antique knives, which will have to wait until I get home for pics. Today I hope I get a few minutes to even look at some. I managed to sell 25-30 knives on setup day so if that keeps up, this will be a record year!!
But the people are the best part of this shebang !! Several BFers were at the show, and I expect lots more this morning! And last night Chris from Great Eastern, Knowtracks and Old Bowie and I shared a leisurely and laugh-filled dinner, and relived the day! How can it get any better??

Up a little too late! Four of us took Chris from GEC out to dinner for her birthday! You all know her lovely handwriting, which is on the GEC tubes!!
Barlow madness this morning!! Several people showed up to latch onto a rare TC or three. A good time was had by all!!
Singin50, Old Bowie, Knowtracks and waynorth spent a couple of hours at our motel rehashing the day, and showing off our new purchases. Lots of stuff to post when we get home! I realize it's going by too fast!!
Good night all!
PS if anyone has Perry's cellphone number, can they PM it to me?
Thanks!!
