Who Went to Oregon?? Post Your Booty!!

Wow! What an incredible show. Just got home about 10p last nite, tired but satisfied. There is so much to see at the OKCA Show that it'll probl'y take me a few more shows to see most of the attractions. I'll post more photos later, but for now you can take a look at these.

Camper view of the 2015 OKCA Club Knife:

This knife is outstanding! Much better appreciated in hand than in a photo. There were 50 made and they sold out very quickly. Mine is #24.

The TC anticipation is so thick you could cut it with a dull barlow....

Charlie, where are you coming up with those knives????

I came home with some great stuff I'll be listing soon in the dealer section on the Exchange for all you who couldn't make the trip. Charlie generously made this possible for our fellow forumites. Watch for tag line later this week.... The wait will be worth it! ;)

Great stuff Barry, thanks for the pics

For what it is worth, I barely even recognized Barry when he changed out of his cowboy hat. :)

Derrick, I just had to show some support for my SEAHAWKS! (next year's Superbowl champs! sorry Paul...)

I did feel a little underdressed, though. :)

I still want that Scagel.... I got so busy talkin' knives, I never got back to your table, darn it! I guess that gives me an excuse to drive to Portland. ;)

Charlie, I hope to make it up to Great Eastern this summer. I hope it is not the end of July though, I have a wilderness skills course the next to last weekend of July, and then vacation downy ocean the following week.

Great photos Barry! Thanks for sharing. That's awesome you brought the spirit of the 12th man there with you!! Darnit, we should be going for a three-peat this year!!

Looks like a great time. After my one experience, I'm now hooked on knife shows and can't wait to get back to one. It's great that so many BF members got to congregate at this show.

Here is my haul from the show! Thanks a lot Charlie for the knives, conversation and insights. I neded all of these for the collection with the exception of just one. It was a real treat to be right there when Charlie broke out the plastic TC treasure chest within 20 minutes of the showing opening Saturday morning and then watching us clamour over the loot. Anyway here are some pictures I took real quick tonight. It was just great "rubbing shoulders" with all the BF members there. A memory that will last a life time and never to be forgotten--remember when we were at the Oregon Knife Show back in 2015 when Charle C. broke out all those dups he had and the thrill we all had as we scrambled to get some of those TC folders? Oh yeah that was sweet my friend!

What a haul, Lloyd! Between the three of us,,,you, me and Caleb, we got the goods alright! But Barry scored some mighty fine ones from Charlie too!

Pretty sure it was sugarleaf, but I never even saw it! I heard it being discussed but I think someone scored that skunk on Friday, before any of us got there Sat. Might've been Jake, but we will have to wait for him to post.

Interestingly, Lloyd and I didn't know Charlie had the #15 Scout until late Sunday afternoon. We walked back over to Charlie's table one more time before Lloyd had to leave and Charlie pulled out yet another mystery tub! And Charlie sheepishly said,,,"Well I do have this one Red Rust Jigbone #15 here". It's one of those real purty ones too! Nice almost see through lighter red rust color,,,Wow! If Lloyd hadn't bought, I would've!

Wow, I really did miss the event of the year.:D Charlie got to take Christine Tucker out for her Birthday. Thanks for the photos Caleb (Payton206) and Barry, it is really great to see the traditional forum members at the show. It was so generous of Charlie to help people find all of those great knives for their collections.:) Luger1952 that is a great haul there, you had a great collection even before the show. Can't wait to see some of the other pictures and knives (Perry, et al). :o:D

Thanks Dave! I will post better shots as soon as mine arrive in the mail, should be here on Wed!

You guys should've held that OKCA club knife that Barry showed at the top of the page! What a stunning achievement by GEC!

Lloyd, with your new +9 (:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:) I'm sure you have quite the treasure chest of your own! Wowie-Wow-Wow!

No kidding! Nine Lloyd?! NINE!?!
Haha, just kidding! I would've done the same if Charlie would've obliged!:thumbup:

Thanks gentlemen! I have scraped and scratched to get the collection of TC folders I have prior to this event so you can imagine how thrilling it was to have a shot at multiple TC folders in such a short window of opportunity. So I went for it and Charlie was very accommodating about the whole thing. I wish more of you could have been there. Heck whether I would have gotten nine or two I would have walked away more than happy. Perry and I were commenting before the show even started maybe we have a real shot at a few or more. It didn't hurt that Charlie was kind enough to reserve the ones he said he was bringing for the start of the show and would not sell them Friday during dealer setup. We also got to the show early and I would say we were the first nine or so people from the public through the doors. We of course beat a quick trail to Charlie's table. Thanks to Perry for yielding at times to my impulse to grab it when I am sure he may have wanted it. First time ever that I bought any folder especially a TC in person and not on the forum or from Ebay or a BF member via the mail. I don't think this will EVER happen again for me in my collecting lifetime it was that special and I was that fortunate. Thanks again for your kind comments. Lloyd
