Who would be happy only Civivi or similar knife?

I could be content with it, but it wouldn't necessarily make me happy.

If your question is solely focused on the level of quality that Civivi puts out, I could be happy with that. I just wouldn't want to be locked into pivot bearings, flippers, or their design ques.

In my mind, I would still be able to have some kind of middle ground between a Spyderco Tenacious and PM2. I could be happy with that.

If they made the Tenacious in a better steel, it would be a best seller.

Overpriced 8Cr13Mov is something that needs to stop. It's 2020. We've got Chinese makers using 14C28N. We've got 9Cr18Mov with a decent heat treatment from brands like Civivi and Real Steel. The Acuto 440 Kizer is using in their Tangram line has been delightful. Artisan recently announced a new PM steel that's finding its way into budget knives. All of that is happening at around the price of a Tenacious or less.

Anyone who wants way overpriced 8cr13mov might want to shop AG Russell ; his catalog is peppered with way overpriced 8cr13mov steel knives.
