Hello Dan,
I've cleared my calendar, and my work bench. So I'm ready for her, whenever your finished your fine tuneing.
I'm still here in MN., and with the "Frost on the Pumpkin", we're getting ready to hibernate for the winter. Looking forward to spending some quality time with this knife, while the snow piles up outside.
Best Regards,
Jay Maines

Very good Dan! Now does it go staright away to Jay? The Pix look real good from here. The little dimples in the ivory on that one side is just the way the ivory is and I know it shows worse in photo than in real but that is just ancient ivory.

dang for some reason I stopped getting update e-mails to this thread and a few othersOkay now Dan, please, remember to tell Jay when you send it all off to him that it, sheath and all, needs to come back to me for case making. If I am not mistaken, and anyone please advise otherwise if needed, I believe she all goes to Bruce Bump after that. I think that finishes her up and ready for sale. I hope I am not missing any details in that. And Dan my mailing address is not what it used to be - so Jay and I should get that straight before he ships out.

Now, I have a few words to say about myself and my conduct within this during the last year +. My time performance on THIS up to lately has sucked. That is to say the least. However, it has been better than only a few weeks since this thread has been reactivated by me and Dan Gray. I see and have seen little motion from either the Cert. maker and the especially the article writer. To be fair Dan Koster did chime in a couple times (the Cert. Maker) but nothing from the writer. So I wonder, and no refelection on them at all since I can not place blame for giving up if they are still interestred or not. Big Dan did post about the size of Cert. he had in mind. There has been NO come back from our article writer. I wonder where we are. Dan will make the Cert.; I am sure of that but I wonder about the write up and I really wonder if we need one. I thiink this package will speak well enough for itself and any good magazine auther can AND will do it properly - I believe. Besides that, the write up should be transparent to the effort. The Cert. will describe the individual crafts and the author can take it from that and from his correspondence. Dan's Cert. is essential to this and I have absolute confidence in it coming from Dan and it will be a class act from him.

Still been checking in, and yes I'm still down for writing the article. Do we know where the proceeds will go? Selling it before/after an article publication? We might consider trying to talk Coop into taking pics to help get the best coverage we can out of this.
