This has probably been asked before but some theoretical questions are worth revisiting from time to time.

Choose from any person living or passed, real or fictional. Who would you like to have around your campfire?

I was thinking of Theodore Roosevelt or Louis Lamour, both for their woodcraft knowledge and the stories they would tell once the fire had burned down to coals.

Who ya gonna bring? Les Hiddins? Wolfgang Puck? Tila Tequila?

Okay, I'll be real... Bear Grylls. For entertainment, like Mikey of the old cereal commercial, you could dare him to eat anything. He could likely spin many a good yarn - in the first person. And, best of all, when the weather sours - he has a 'copter standing by to rush 'us' to a lodge/motel, etc.

My grandfathers. One died of cancer when I was 9, the other a month before I was born.

SFC Randy Shugart, and MSG Gary Gordon would be 2 more. They are both personal heroes of mine.
