Who would you take with you?

Never mind JLH... I'd take my wife. She puts up with a lot of my craziness. Besides, I wouldn't feel right enjoying the campfire - without hearing about how we could be walking a Gulf coast beach!

Thanks 'Ol Bud, They hit the hills with me when I go on my short hikes & they love it, They can already Identifey Turkey tracks, dog / coyote tracks & cat tracks ! They never go without their walking sticks :D They are full of questions & a lot of fun to teach & have fun with !

I think John Cleese of Monty Python is brilliant so he is the comedy relief. Rachel McAdams (she's gorgeous!!), and both my sons. The guys would all have to go to bed early if Rachel wanted to stay up late and "talk".
 
Me, before I was twenty five. And my grandfathers father, who was pretty interesting from the stories that have been told. And if he couldn't make it, Kate Beckinsale would certainly be welcome.

My 4 year old is the same way dude.... He did a 3mi hike w/ me today and didnt complain once. He loves it...

I would like to add ben harper to my campfire for jamming! My wife and boys go w/o saying. Then the 2 delta snipers, and my grandfathers...
 
Wow! Seriously...Just...Wow! Good answers all. Some, I can't believe I didn't think of...Some are just...Wow!

Nick Rowe: I'm a SERE graduate and my pastor lived with him and his family for a time...Can't believe I didn't think of him.

Chief Seattle: I grew up a couple of miles from his grave in Suquamish. Again, why didn't I think of him?

Here's one that hasn't been mentioned: MSG Roy Benavidez...one of my heroes. First one to recognize his name without googling it earns my unending admiration.

Here's a choice to make: Do you want anybody from the book ALIVE with you? On the one hand, they wouldn't complain if you burned the bannock but...would you really sleep well if the meat ran short?
 
Why didn't I think of...Rudyard Kipling? Come on, what's wrong with me? Don't answer that...the list is WAY too long.
