Who would you take with you?

My grandmother, Died when my dad was nine back in 64. Would just like to know her. Apparently she was quite the hooligan in the late 30's. Running around in overalls with her boyfriend in his race car .

Wow! Seriously...Just...Wow! Good answers all. Some, I can't believe I didn't think of...Some are just...Wow!

Nick Rowe: I'm a SERE graduate and my pastor lived with him and his family for a time...Can't believe I didn't think of him.

Chief Seattle: I grew up a couple of miles from his grave in Suquamish. Again, why didn't I think of him?

Here's one that hasn't been mentioned: MSG Roy Benavidez...one of my heroes. First one to recognize his name without googling it earns my unending admiration.

Here's a choice to make: Do you want anybody from the book ALIVE with you? On the one hand, they wouldn't complain if you burned the bannock but...would you really sleep well if the meat ran short?

I read the book on benavidez. I believe he was a tanker in vietnam. Congressional medal of honor winner. One of the very few to get while alive.
He did special forces training prety late in his career too. Awesome story on what this man did and endured to get that medal!

i'd say probably my great grand-dad...he died when i was young and i'm always told he would have loved to see what i do in my spare time...i'd like to chat with him. ah well maybe another time.

apart from that, any of the wonderful ladies and gents i met at the CT gathering...lots of fun and interesting people there.

other than that, i would say i would like to chat with someone like sam clemens (mark twain) and ask him about what he was really getting at with all those books of his. any of the choices that you guys put forth would be great too though...

Hunter S Thompson

Alan Watts

Carl Sagan

Miyamoto Musashi

Joseph Campbell

Albert Hofmann

Marty and Aggie would be hard to beat.

But a night in front of the camp fire with Teddy Roosevelt and Ted Williams discussing hunting and fishing would be hard the best. :D

Anyone that wont stop complaining... People that darwin forgot to pick up on his way out. Anyone that is just plain stupid.
