Whoopee - GEC website shows #77 BLADE FORUM 2014 CLUB KNIFE is in production

Ooh you gotta love those long pull swedged clips and fancy bolsters. I gotta say with john Lloyd's stag I'm glad they won't have long Barlow bolsters. They would cover too much of the stag. The imperial shield is gonna look very nice too.

Kinda glad I did not order as I did not think they would have a Spear Blade or a Wharncliffe Blade so I held back but I guess I
should have ordered one to just put back.! Oh well ~~ you win some and lose some and then you stop and think.!** OOPs.!!

The forum knife is only clip, but the 77 barlow will have sheepsfoot (if thats what you were thinking you missed out on?)
 
One reason I'm so excited about these coming in is the stag. With bone or wood or synthetic covers they'll all look the same or pretty close, but with stag each knife will be unique and I'm sure there will be a huge range of appearance in the stag with this many knives, it'll be fun to see them all and see what I get.

This is great news!

I didn't know that a SFO run of TCs would also be done soon after the 15s. Is the 77 frame larger than the 15?
 
There's a box of pen blades there....

Hmmm... neither the BF knife nor the Northfield barlow have a pen blade. Wonder what those could be for... :D

Their description says the pen blades are for the 77 barlows... it's in the what's happening link.

maybe they are being deceptive.
 
I love the frame shape and stamped bolsters. If they do a spear point in the future I'd be interested then.
Can't wait 'til you guys get these so the rest of us can see some 77-15 comparison pics. :)
