Whoopee - GEC website shows #77 BLADE FORUM 2014 CLUB KNIFE is in production

Man, I just wasn't in to traditionals when I saw this knife being announced. Now that I've spent a little time in yalls corner I'm kicking myself big time. Oh well, I guess pics will have to do (long depressing sigh).

there'll be plenty of resales on the boards here, as many people bought extras, there is also a similar SFO model with barlow bolster being made by one of the authorized dealers.

I can't believe we haven't started a "where's the knife" thread...

Kudos to this year's process and all who made it work. And thanks again to everyone who kept the previous years alive!

Agreed! I saw that earlier today, so excited to see the first one all built up and then to see what type of stag I get. Will it be smooth and subdued or gnarly and full of character? Or somewhere in between? I love stag! This is fun :)

Any of the above will be OK with me as long as there is decent side-to-side matching. Oh, and no wonky shield mounting, either!

Hah! I was so happy to see that on GEC's website that I accidentally posted a link on another forum. Opps! :o

Waiting!

Looking at those photos of the stag slabs being matched up and then some stag already on the liners really quickens the pulse!

But I think we need to be a little realistic, there are after all around 300 knives to finish, I've no idea of GEC's daily output but 300 knives is a lot of stag, steel and brass, must take a fair while. Then there's the sobering prospect of getting these 300 out to the Post Office and off to eager Forumites! Bad enough packaging up one knife to one address but threehundred:eek::eek::D

Yeah these look to be shaping up to be some crazy awesome knives!

Hehe....seeing stag mounted to scales makes me very happy! And look at those! Some beautiful stag happening right there.

Man I'm so excited for this thing! I ordered it knowing it would be done around my birthday, happy birthday to me!

Those are looking very nice indeed  All good things come to those who wait ;)

The wait is killing me, unfortunately I have several things on my plate to keep me occupied so I get excited when I do check back to this thread or GECs page...:)

Coming along knicely. ;)
