Who's Drinkin'?????

I'm thinking tonight is going to be a dry night. I'm just not feeling drinking, I might open a bottle of wine and have a couple glasses...we'll see.
 
Vodka and Cranberry for me. Long, unproductive day of looking for a new canine family member. Spring Break is here and I work early shift all week. More time for evening beverages.

What kind of dog are you considering?


Tito's handmade vodka with a touch of sprite and lemon for me.

Startovers are always preferable to hangovers.

Our criteria is that he or she be good with children and a cat. Travel by vehicle well, and be able to spend a few hours in the house alone during the day. Other than that, we don't have hard fast rules. I prefer a medium size dog, as this will be the first my youngest kids have had. I am very fond of American Bull Terriers and Malamutes. But we are not looking for purebreds. Is that vague enough? LOL
 
I just got a Shiba Inu a couple months ago and he meets all those criteria except he is a purebred. The males only get up to about 25 pounds. They are independent and have no problems when we leave ours alone during the day. He even goes straight to his crate to sleep at night all by himself. I dont mind where he sleeps personally.. But the pup seems to like his crate. They are clean dogs, you are not suppose to bath them much, like cats they clean themselves, and ours was amazingly easy to potty train with puppy pads.

They are a Japanese breed closely related to the much larger Akita, I had never even heard of them until a few months ago but once i seen some i had to have one. So glad i did too. This puppy plays when we are ready to play, and then plays by himself when we are not, or chills on the couch next to us watching TV. He is great with our kids too, 5 year old and 7 year old.

I love ours... thats why im suggesting it LMAO awesome dogs.

Here is Neko. He is 17 weeks old now.
