Who's Drinkin'?????

Ha...I agree to a point. I'm the only one who drinks coffee and if I make a pot ...... I drink a pot....or if I'm heading out early I waste a pot. The Keurig convenience and once you find the right coffee you like...hard to beat.

LOL............now I'm about to have a glass of wine............out of a 3 litre box. :D

Just snuck to my office for a shot of Cabo. Gotta get back to the grinding room before anybody realizes I am gone. Perhaps one more wouldn't hurt though.

Didn't know the Vietnamese had their own java.... I'll keep an eye out for it. Do you brew it the same way as regular coffee?

They have great coffee. Better than Columbia IMO for this drink and I believe a larger producer of it. It's brewed using a phin filter ($5). Place the ground coffee in the filter, place the filter on top of a cup to which sweetened condensed milk has been added. Add hot water to the filter and it drips ever so slowly into the milk (4-5 min brew time). Ca Phe Sua Da is the iced version. Basically single serving fresh coffee with a twist. The filter is small and light enough to fit in a pack for hiking and comes in handy when the power goes out. I just can't do instant. The brand of coffee I like best is Trung Nguyen. Lots of videos and pictures on how to make on the web. It's delicious, easy, and has a nice presentation. The anticipation will get to you though seeing it drip little by little into the condensed milk.

Started on the crown early today. No real cutter so I mixed it with "sparkling" water .....added sweetener and lemon/lime juice.

Decent enough to drink........

Today is definitely calling for something strong...I think some Captain Morgan Tattoo and coke will do the trick if I go heavy on the rum.

Haven't had a drop of the good stuff for 3 months :grumpy:
Shame, shame, shame on me... I miss my bourbon & coke.

Not a total loss however.
On the plus side, I've lost weight & saved up funds for more Busse knives!
