Evan Williams.... Man, that brings back memories.

It actually saved my life one time...no kidding!

Last time I had that was about 25 years ago. Me and a buddy met these gals and everything went fantastic until their brothers arrived. All six of them. They were oilfield roughnecks. The kind of guy that eats nails for breakfast to get some fiber in the diet.

Thankfully, I was able to produce a 1.75 ltr bottle of Evan Williams I kept stashed in the toolbox of my truck.. We passed it around and all took shots from the bottle. The 'necks were able to forgive the obvious affection their sister and I were sharing due to this fact. Things turned out pretty well for a young single fella that night.

Things might have been downright ugly for me that night if not for the Evan. I've always been thankful to him for that. :D

Set aside the carrot juice and tea for the day. Uconn vs FL 63/53 left me craving a beer to cry into. Not caring much for beer and trying to be optimistic I will look ahead to better days for FL at the Kentucky Derby. In preparation for the big day the beverage of choice ....Knob Creek Mint Julep

Akitas and Wolf mixes are two awesome dogs! Let us know what you decide on. :D

I've been drinking Carlsberg beer and Birddog blackberry bourbon. I have two Dogo Argentinos and they are about the perfect dog. I'm not sure if got any Wolf hybrids, but that's just me personally.

Got a great new drinking accessory in today. Its a 154CM kiridashi, called a Birudashi, a cool name since the japanese word for beer is biru and this has an awesome bottle opener at the bottom. Really sharp and pointy, and just cool all around lol

Akita and Rhodesian Ridgeback. Animal control euthanizes any wolf hybrid here, as I have been warned. Got a 3 month old male. He is laying down with me as I type this. His name is Temujin. I will get some pics up soon.
