Who's Drinkin'?????

Maker's Mark tonight. I have the fixin's for making up some old fashioned but not the inclination.

Back when they had "The Star Trek Experience" at the Las Vegas Hilton, I stopped by Quark's bar and picked up a bottle of Klingon Blood Wine. It's actually a fairly decent wine.

Hahah
Give it to Quark to monetize Klingon traditions. I guess the battle saw is as close you get to a true batleth as you can, that is until Jerry releases an INFI version.

Up for 21 hrs, and self lubricating with Henry McKenna Single Barrel....apparently not very effectively, because I can still type & I haven't purchased anything, yet. While I don't have anything specific in mind, I am quite open to suggestion...how can you people manage to not sell me something??

I thought the Anniversary Flying Mojo had a Klingonish look to it, but I'm not sure where I put it and the Battle Saw was handy.

Happy Leap Mezcal Monday everybody!

(Cupreata from Chichihualco)

Tired of watching it snow outside so I am going with coconut rum. Atleast I can pretend I am on an island somewhere that is warm and snow free.

Revisited, and finished, that bottle - another morning when I can't find anything to buy.
FWIW, I'm liking the double-walled titanium "glass", cup, thing. It was rather pricey, considering the amount of glassware I have, but it will travel better. Is it April, yet?

Was hitting some black bush at a local watering hole, in recognition of St Patty's Day. Been up way too long, and the site is down. How am I supposed to buy something?

Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or. If you're looking for dirt and smoke, you won't find it here. Very rich and smooth notes of citrus and spices, with a bit of sweetness from the sauternes barrels it's finished in. I really like this one. It would be in the top five on my list of favorite single malts.

That's a lovely pour

My next door neighbor had a bottle of this and it was just as you described. Excellent. So my other neighbor and I go get our own bottles..different places and times. This was not even close to the same, and neither was the other neighbors bottle. I kept trying it over two months and it was never as citrus or sweet as the original bottle I tasted. I guess maybe we got a bad batch. Maybe should try again..I don't know.

Enjoy :)

A local brewery ( Trois Brasseurs) offered a stout with a Irish poutine as a St- Patrick special. Got there, this evening, and they were all out of stout. Took 2 pints of dark beer with a couple of ounces of Jameson's in each pint..... Delicious!!!!!

Rum is always too sickening sweet but the on-the-way-home joint was out of any palatable whiskey and whisky so it's Sailor Jerry's tonight. Dirty, I should've just bought some Coors Lite trash.
