I have a GSO 5.1 in 20cv from pre-sale and have not received any notifications. Could it be because I have a pre-order 4.7 and you'll ship it both at the same time?

I feel like just telling Guy to ship my 5.1 from the pre-sale if the issue is just cosmetic. The wait is killing me.
 
My 5.1 pre-sale is just hours from pick-up. In fact, it is probably waiting in my PO Box right now. Last text I got from USPS said that sorting was complete.

I checked our system. Your order hasn't gone out yet because it was ordered as a CPM-3V blade. It didn't get moved to the CPM-20CV stack when we made the note to change it over. We don't have any of those blades ready right now so Guy will have to get that finished and sharpened. Should go out Monday.

I'd like to point out that even though some people are frustrated with delays (not me), this level of communication and customer service is pretty rare. Must give Survive kudos for addressing customer questions so quickly and directly.
 
I am pretty pumped, finally got the go ahead from my buddy to proxy buy him a 5.1...am I sick in the head that I am enjoying the monday free-for-all?

Agreed!!! Its a lot easier to wait when you get personal and thoughtful updates as opposed to "we can't tell you anything about the wait other than it will still be a while" which is also fine, but def makes waiting harder! haha

I will admit, I'm definitely better at keeping up with this than the emails. I figure if I answer a question here it will reach a lot more people than if I answer one person's email. I know from working in restaurants that most people don't bother to ask the question or give feedback. They just don't come in anymore. If the information is public, they don't have to ask. Which means those people who wouldn't speak up still get the information and the people who would speak up don't have to. I still seem to have a lot of emails though. :/

Some people also like going to the mall and fighting the crowds for Christmas shopping.
 
Since y'all asked-- I just got my 3V 5.1 F-2nd shipping notification. For those wondering about timing I ordered mine on the 15th a few minutes after 2pm EST. UPS says it should arrive on March 7th. I am in MA.

haha fighting virtual crowds is about as brave as I get, I am just excited to help turn on another new fan to survive! He saw me use my 4.1 to baton a bunch of logs on our last outing and decided he needed to jump in

Next weekend I will take a lot of photos. Going to meet up with some bushcraft guys here in Colorado to camp and ice fish. Definitely taking the 5.1 with me. :)

Still not sure why this is a factory 2nd. In comparison with my old 4.1 factory 2nd.

Looks great! 5.1 is my personal favorite!
