Why an Esee-5 and not a BK-2

The 5 is going to be better at certain tasks than the BK2 and vice versa. It's a stalemate really.

one thing's for sure, they're both photogenic...now, you gotta use them, man it's like putting a lion in a 10x10 cage...let the beasts go out and play.

By weeks end I hope to have both in my hands! I just received the bk2 in the mail two days ago, and the 5 is do to be in my hands after Christmas! So excited! !

I like Becker and I'm also very attracted to ESEE knives. I'll likely order an ESEE 4 before the snow melts here. I respect both brands and have zero interest in opposing one against the other. I am happy that both brands are available.:thumbup:

I own both and believe either would serve above and beyond most owners needs. I like the sheath on my 5. Although I'm told the new BK-2 sheath setup works well.

I do agree they are more different than they might appear.

The real question is ESEE-6 or BK-7?

And oh yeah, I want a ESEE-4 just because.
