Importing a knife in to Sweden with any form of assisted opening can and will be interpreted as importing a switchblade. This is illegal to own for persons under 21 years of age in Sweden.

Given your general conduct here I'm maybe not wrong in assuming that this is the reason why your purchase was canceled...

I'm almost twice that age so that doesn't apply to me.

I think that what happened was that the seller American Pawn Shops probably had sold the knife in one of their stores before or after that I bought it through Amazon.

Congratulations on your paperweight collection. I hope all three were bought at once. Otherwise, your learning curve is a difficult one to live with. The sad part is that for the amount of money you have spent on the knives you have talked about. You could have owned both a real Kershaw and a real Spyderco. Some times it is more important to aquire less but be assured you are owning the real thing. I hope you have come to see that as it certainly seems to have been both an expensive and bitter journey. It does not excuse the rude behavior, but I am hoping you are quite young. If you are not young, well that is just one more difficult thing to live with.

I have never really been interested in small folding knives until now so when I saw some cheap ones from a known manufacturer (Spyderco) on eBay and they turned out to be utter crap I got very angry about that.

So you bought fakes and get mad at the company who makes actual ones? And somehow kershaw is involved in this? What is going on in this thread anymore??

I am shocked that you do not have age as an excuse. You are about my age and this is how you present yourself to the world?

You come to this forum with a negative attitude and proceed to bash a well respected knife company in duplicate threads based on experiences you have had ordering fake knives off of shady websites. Then you adamantly defend yourself and your preconceived and false notions only to finally order a S110V Para2? This is the behavior of a crazy person. Who or what are you really angry at because it should not be Spyderco?

Here is my advice, again. There are many on here who would be eager to help you learn about knives as well as the best places to buy them but you haven't done a good job of asking for that help. This is a good bunch of people and if you adjust your tone and open your ears i am sure this can all be water under the bridge.

I just returned a fake endura4 I got off from a warehouse deal on amazon.ca. I can tell you there was no ill feelings towards spyderco in any shape or form off this issue. I even understand that it is not so much amazon's fault, as they got surely robbed by a devious Customer who bought one just to return a fake. The non knife connaisseur could not begin to suspect the fraud.

all you should do, instead of wrongfully bashing spyderco, is most definitely report the items as counterfeits. The evil bay will have the listings removed if properly reported.

You would rage too if you paid good money for crap and eBay being a shady website... yes perhaps so.

And we are all crazy here... just in different amounts. :D

Yes, Mikael, I might rage, but certainly not at Spyderco.

And yes, we are all crazy to one degree or another...but we are all respectful to each other. As Darby said, hang out here and show that respect and you will be given it in return. Along the way you will learn much and enjoy these interactions and the knowledge you gain. You may even make some lifelong friends...I have. Don't take this as preaching. I'm just passing along some advice that was given to me as I had some of the same problems when I first came around these forums. I am glad I listened.

That is a blatant lie... all I got was name calling and profanities and if I had resorted to the same way as many on this forum I would have been banned by now.

To be fair, you came in full of hostility, never saying you bought fakes, and calling out a well respected and well known company which most people here own and carry their products, which you never had any basis in using, and then do a complete 180 and buy a knife from them, when you were arguing that a knife is only good when lots of people can afford it. You contradicted yourself multiple times, as well as insult members here.

Mikael,

You came in a bashing a great knife and a great brand. What did you expect to come of it?

Ah, but that response was on a specific forum.

Read the rules at the top of each forum.

They are there to educate members both old and new.

That original post you resurrected got your addition moved to a place in this forum set aside for us to say what we thibk, with out much edit or politeness.

I was hoping to see this thread get moved there also.

If you had any class, or intellectual honesty, you would go back and edit your original post, and apologize for taking a cap on a great company, simply because you purchased likely fakes on an auction site completely packed with fakes.

I did not see any terrible name calling. You joined this forum and started two duplicate threads which were at the very least inflammatory. You received the response that you elicited. Simple as that. Starting an inflammatory thread with the desire to elicit a certain response is in fact trolling and you got called out on it.

You would rage too if you paid good money for crap and eBay being a shady website... yes perhaps so.

Ebay IS shady.

Caveat Emptor. Buyer beware. If you did in fact buy fakes you have nobody to blame but yourself. Spyderco actively tries to battle counterfeiting and would undoubtedly prefer that people didn't buy them. This thread being a shining example as to why. There is zero logic to being mad at them. You are a victim of yourself here, not Spyderco.

And we are all crazy here... just in different amounts. :D

Agreed. I am crazy as can be and I do not deny it but I do try to base my thoughts and decisions on logic. You seem to defy logic and also refuse to listen to anybody else.

So funny. Of course the PM2 is a far better knife than the Leek.

I suppose it's a fun exercise to compare the relative value, but silly to question iconic status, particularly by pointing at simple cost. A Ferrari, for instance, is the automotive definition of iconic, yet a bit spendy.

The almost universal truism applies: You get what you pay for.

This guy is a pretty good troll. I'm surprised so many are falling for this.

I think he might be exactly as ridiculous as he seems, IE not a troll. He's admitted to buying fakes. He has admitted the cheap price he got a leek for fell through. He makes fun of the spyderhole and then buys a $180 PM2. If he is a troll he is a really bad one.

It was $149.97 actually. ;)

What really amazes me is all of you participating in this "conversation." This guy has more than one thread on this same topic, at the same time, here on BF. That should be a big HINT.
I never want to be in the position of disregarding someone's honest difference of opinion, but, let's all look at the evidence a little closer.
