Why carry an expensive knife?

I know an awesome knifemaker who will work on other people's work. He did this to a Super CQC7.

Did this to a normal 7.

I would trust him to service or modify a custom by anyone.

Not the same as a warranty.. just 'sayin.

So basically you're a self-confessed Troll? Thanks for making that perfectly clear.

FYI: DNFTT!

Yep! Tonight I troll. Tomorrow, I, well, probably troll again.

Come under my bridge and hang out any time. Just be sure to bring the toll, which is currently $25 per trip due to recent maintenance upgrades......

Is this my accountant or my tax guy? I know you're one or the other, 'cause nobody knows that much about me but them

Seriously, I don't envy those who can and do spend that much and still pay to live well, as I do my best to live within my means and still have my toys too. Just a difference in what our toys are. I love my blades, but have to keep them reasonable in $ if I want to afford the hobbies I am blessed to have time and talents to enjoy as well.

Thanks for your view. Why are you coming after other people for loving their blades as well? I wonder if one of your $40 dollar blades can cut through a keyboard. Why don't you give it a try?

It can, but then I couldn't spend a nice evening here. :)

I can most absolutely guarantee you that all of my blades will cut through a keyboard. Cutting through his keyboard would be the real trick, though.:)

By the way, please don't misunderstand, I hold no ire against anyone who spends their money on knives. I love mine as well! I only kid because I like to get lively feedback. I actually wish to continue to spend time collecting, and have learned so much here about the quality and popularity of knives, and I feel as though I can relate to your enthusiam for the hobby.

I'll graciously bow out for a season, as toes are being accidentally stepped on by me, which is NOT my intention.

God bless, and peace y'all. Good night!
Off to read the Little Engine that Could with my 2 year old... I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...........

So which returning toll are you?

Nah, he's not smart enough to be a returning troll. Probably not smart enough to be a first-time troll. Just your average, garden-variety dumbass.

Can you say Phallic Symbol? My guess is to compensate for something else 'substandard' in the pocket region..... (same reason men drive faster, more expensive cars the older they get. Which also, ironically relates to the increase of ED pills they buy. Hmmmmm.)
Of course, I have to agree that thre is a too cheap knife, and quality, to some extent, comes at a price, so I don't carry a crappy blade, but for $40-50, you can get a durable, sharp, and nice feeling knie that can do what you need it to.
Just my .02

Troll speak if I ever heard it.I buy what I like and can afford.High quality isn't usually inexpensive.

The rules in the General Knife Discussion begin with "Discuss the knives, not each other." They continue all the way down to "Do Not Feed The Trolls."

Do not BE a troll should be understood. Instead of poking around and infracting everyone who deliberately derailed this thread, jimh0220, I'm just going to close it.
