Why did I buy that?

The Drop Zone? Yeah, they're over retail and have a lousy selection, but they're all we have now that PVKaT closed their storefront. What were you up here for? I see from your profile that you're not in MA now.

I lived on Lake Wyola up in Shutesbury from July 98 until January 99. I liked it up there, lots of good energy. Been back in my adopted hometown of New Orleans since January and I'm currently looking to relocate to the Caribbean.

Anyone know a good knife store on St. Kitts?

Oh, and to finish up on-topic, I also was rather unhappy with my purchase of a Henckels 10" chef's knife. The balance was far inferior to that of their 8" (a disadvantage to buying before you try), the spine was rather thick and I decided within hours I wasn't very pleased with the steel. A world better than K-mart specials, but not quite up to my knife knut standards. After my next knife purchase, a custom fighter of my own design executed by Ed Schott in CPM3V, I'm going to be in the market for an 8" chef's knife in Talonite with dishwasher-safe handles. . .

Hey, neat - thanks for the reply. I'm currently finishing up my student time at UMass. My entomology classes have done some good collection at Lake Wyola! I'm from Sharon, Mass. originally.

OK, back to the thread...
