To answer the last question.

When they come into the country i will receive a letter asking me to pay the charges if i do not reply or do not want to pay them then it will be shipped back to the sender.
 
would the mods please ban this murdoch screwball.....it seems quite obvious that he is a scammer.... this is annoyingly silly

Then what's the problem? Why did you initiate a dispute with PayPal?

The normal procedure here would seem to be the knives would be returned to the sender since the addressee refused to pay tax, and then after receiving the knives he would presumably refund your payment. Why isn't that happening in this case?
 
Nice job Murdoch, you just made it a helluva lot tougher for non-US folks to buy knives here. Add me to the US only sellers list, especially when there is the possibility that the overseas (UK) buyers will file a bogus paypal dispute to avoid taxes (that we are not even aware of and are made by politicians you vote for) if the seller does not lie for you.

You have not handled this well here.
 
That is what i have done i have initiated a refund for when he gets them back, as he completely broke my trust and strung me along for 9 days then i have no guarantess he would refund me and that is why i initiated a refund.
 
Broos i never started the post, i had no option but to tell the truth i am not going to have someone spout lies and not tell my side regardless of the consequences.
 
I am fairly new here to the forum and knife buying in general,but i know only to well how hard it is to find someone willing to ship overseas.My very first deal was with DOL and was a very fast smooth transaction. I have since exchanged messages with Paul and have found him nothing short of polite and honest.It is a shame now there is one less person willing to ship to the Non Conus members of this forum,thanks alot Murdoch123 you are a pratt and are ruining it for us all.
 
steelwhore..... he hasnt ruined it for all..... i will still sell to overseas folks that have more than a few post and some type of history...... not that i sell alot but i imagine after this a few folks will say outside the usa on a case by case basis....

as before i stated before i closed the my thread because wanted more documentation and now its in stone bait taken and forwarded to the proper authorities!!!! i will not have any communications with Murdoch123 either he accepts the knives he purchased and paid for or the truth be known he is a con artist and thief . i will let everyone know what the end result is. after this is all over. it is clear by his attacks on other members there is something mentally wrong here,and he is getting off on the whole process :eek: If you read that thread closely you will see his true intentions. I am thinking paypal and customs will also find Murdoch123 posts quite intersting since it will back up all i have said to them allready:D Im staying out of Murdochs123 insanity for now. Oppressor please be my guest and write to customs with your information :yawn: but if i was you i would consult your solicitor first and tell him the truth about your involvment and see what he tells you :rolleyes:

I also guarantee you wont be posting any outcome that went in your favour, either with customs or paypal.

I will get my money back and if i dont get it through paypal then my legal team will make sure you pay up.
 
This whole thing cements my distaste for shipping outside the CONUS. Every guy I have had inquire about shipping outside the US, with maybe the exception of one or two has asked me to declare a lower value for knives. I will not do it. It isn't like I won't find a buyer within the CONUS. My steel will stay stateside unless the buyer is willing to keep things above board and it will take some talking on their part. Now before anyone gets their skirt in a twist, I am not bashing our members who live outside the CONUS, I am just putting in my personal two bits regarding my experiences with this issue.
 
Folks, I have seen no reason so far to ban murdoch123.

If there is solid proof of a scam, or intent to defraud, then I need to see the documentation so a determination can be made.

We cannot arbitrarily ban members here just because another member THINKS the other member is a troll or a scammer.
 
This is getting ridiculous...

I tell you what i will let oppressor keep the knives and the money this obviously means far more to you people than it does to me.
