"Why do you have so many knives!" how many have heard this?

For me it is great to have multiple knives for EDC. Feel like packing something different just reach in the drawer. manual, flipper, assisted or auto. Can't beat having a few.

I have honestly never been asked this by anyone in over 30 years of using and collecting. Not once.

I mean, it's not like I carry all the knives I own on my person at one time.

All my friends are knife guys, so of course they never ask. And I don't let random strangers in my house, so no one really knows how many knives I have.

Like Scrooge McDuck, I put them in a big pile and jump into them. The more knives you have, the more fun it is.

I’m with Shane, seldom have visitors, but my knives are not all in the same place. Don’t look like much, dozen or two at a time.

My dad, before he died, had a thing for rimfire pocket pistols. There was literally no room in his house that didn’t have at least one loaded in it.

The last one we found was down in the subframe of his recliner chair, I had to partially disassemble the chair to remove it. We figured that one fell down in there and he forgot it, because there was another stuffed in the cushions about 6” above.

Come to think of it, no room here either without at least one knife.

i’ve taken notice of my auto collection and decided to sell them all.. and keep 2 bugouts.. and a large/small sebenza.. 4 is plenty for me

When I'm dead, I want people to say, "He was a quiet person. Never bothered anybody. But, with all those knives, I guess he was a psycho."

If I die unexpectedly and an LEO enters my house to do a welfare check, the number of guns and knives that I own will be the least of their concerns.

They'll freak out about all of the AMMO that I have stored in the house -- 10's of thousands of rounds of 22, 9mm, 45, 223, 308 and 12 gauge that I stockpiled before the State of CA enacted restrictions on the private sale of ammo and before ammo became so scarce nationwide.

At this point, I think the ammo may be more valuable than the 20 odd handguns, rifles and shotguns that I own.

So, I can't help chuckling every time they come across a stash of ammo after an arrest and make a big deal in the press about "finding" a couple 1000 rounds or so in the perp's house. 1k rounds wouldn't be enough to last me more than 10 - 1-2 hr (or 3-4 all day) target shooting sessions.

LOL! ;)
