Cbear - have you looked at Duluth Pack or Frost River yet?
both do awesome things in canvas and leather, and unlike the DT bags you posted, they actually make what they sell here in the USA. (In Duluth, in fact)
(yes, I like a lot of what DT offers -- but their prices are high and these other 2 companies make stuff that's actually worth the asking prices...)

Oh yea... A few of you may receive a "test" message from me. Feel free to ignore it.

Duluth pack. I've been lusting after one of their briefcases and I love my growler pack.

I've been looking at bags and really wanted t pick up something like one of the Duluth pack, Filson, Frost River, etc.. briefcases or messengers, but I haven't been able to spare the $200 - $300 for the bags that have been catching my eye. I was able to solve my briefcase dilemma when my wife and I were in Chicago last month. I found a decent Timberland bag at the retail store on Michigan Ave. I checked the tag and found that is was marked down to $75 ish from $100 ish. My wife grabbed it declaring it was an early Christmas present for me. Who am I to argue? When she went up to pay, it scanned in under $50.

Oh - and Indianapolis is getting a Giordano's. I'll finally be able to get my stuffed pizza fix!

Holy jeebus! I actually thought Duluth Trading was part of Duluth Pack. I didn't even realize that they were separate companies and one wasn't made in the US. Thank you for pointing that out. Frost has a bag I'm checking out and actually Duluth does as well.

Frost seems to have more canvas bags and Duluth has more leather. Which is more what I'm looking for.

Tomorrow morning I'll be headed out to camp on the East side of the Olympic National Forest.
Me, Abrasion, his Bro, and Beardlove. Should be a real hoot!
I'll keep y'all posted with pics and stuff.
Can't wait. I could use a weekend in the woods...

so buisness as usual then? :D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

.......

Consider it ignored. Glad to help.:D

Now you'll never get that limited edition top secret piece :p

Now you tell me. That's 60 seconds of my life I'll never get back.

You failed the test anyway.... Next time take a multi-vitamin the morning of the test, pee before leaving the house, drink a lot more water before you pee, and take the sample from mid-stream. This can help you get below the 50ng/ml normally tested for.

You... dammit!
Cheaper than the other and NICE looking too!!!
It's a dangerous place to peruse. I dug around and I don't have any current coupon codes in my inbox, but they seem to run sales regularly too.

Jerry-

Nice satchel you got there.
Thank you! I was pleased with the bang for the buck it offered. It will do quite well for a while until I'm able to splurge on an all leather bag.
