Yes, they both use Parker refills.

Todd, those Maguas are looking good. I had my Magua and Yuma as my only knives at deer camp this year. Everyone was admitting them...unfortunately they may have scared all the deer away, too. :)

Im sure you could sell a couple of pieces off and recoupe the most of your money, id be interested in the 9 if its in good shape and your wanting to move it. I know a couple of other beckerheads that would like to get there paws on that parangatang. Just a thought.

If i go to sell any of them ill let you fellas know first!! As of right now im thinking ill keep them though. All Except the parangatang and the warthog i have owned before... Good blades, and at the price i wont mind beating the snot out of em. Ill be starting to clear my property in about 6 months, so that will really give me some time to play and compare different knives!!

HAHA!! Well i did send him 225 instead of 215... I wanted to make sure after he shipped and insured them he still cleared 200.


Ok so i waited over 2 weeks to get the vinyl in and then they still only sent me half of my order :rolleyes: So now i have to wait longer to get the black "typhon" camo print to try it.... But here is my first practice attempt...

The pattern is so large its hard to get much of it onto a space of only 2"... But i kind of like how it looks. Im thinking if the black is printed the same way.... which im sure it is, the green "may" turn out to look better... Just the contrast of colors is nice to me, since the pattern is so large there would only be a bit of white showing on the typhon vinyl and i think the light green/brown combo may end up looking better in person.

Anyways this was my first go at it, the zippo has a couple small air pockets, and the IM corona lighter has a couple small mistakes as well where i didnt keep it perfectly lined up... So ill be removing these and trying again before long and probably doing the zippo lid to match... First ill probably wait and get the typhon and see how it looks though. That will give me time to see how well it resist scratches and how well it holds.

So, I keep thinking, every damn day that interpreting isn't "for me"... I keep wanting to get back into a kitchen. I don't want to work for "the man" though. I want to open a food truck.
 
All of this is kryptek mandrake... But notice the difference in the sheath, i like the size of the pattern and colors of 710's kydex better.

The vinyl is still pretty sweet i think though. Easier to apply than some of those cell phone screen protectors LMAO
 
Screen protectors are my arch nemesis. I usually buy a 3 pak and the first 2 are for "practice".

Me and the wife have said thats why they are often sold in packs... Most people dont own 3 of the same cell phone, but it takes that many to get one that turns out half decent.

The heat gun helps with applying this vinyl stuff a little.... But get a little too close, or for a little too long and it completely ruins the wrap.

One other quick trick that I use to use, is only peel back what I'm using at that moment.

There's a crepes truck in midtown manhattan. Don't waste your talents on hot dogs. Though a full-on brat truck would be pretty cool.
