I saw a video where a magician had a fake bag of weed and asked a uniformed cop if he knew anyone that wanted to buy it. When the cop tried to arrest him he made it "disappear" right in front of him. The cop was so pissed he was on the verge of roughing him up to find out where he hid it.

HAHA!! That would be great to see in person LOL

If you need a backup plan, I'll just go on and take that one too when I drop in to pick up the knife my buddy ordered. :devilish:

Snow day here today! Don't like the 2 foot drifts in my driveway. Im going to have to suit up and get a beer ready, then go blow some snow.

Valhalla!!

I'm just going to keep saying that as long as beer comes up and as long as there is some left in my fridge.
Just so's y'all know, there's a full growler and I drink slow.

icy snow here, furnace is misbehaving, and the heating people haven't called me back. I'm not going physically to the office today. Maybe to the PO and the shop. There's always administrative work to be done. And heck, I haven't actually MADE anything in the shop since the first week of December.

Todd, I saw the magazine with your Yuma in it yesterday at Wally World. Cool article.

Oooh, I don't normally travel near major bookstores (or Walfart) in my weekly rounds, but I'll try to make a detour.

I have beer, and two spanking new growlers sitting at home. Ill be drinking some when I get home!

Valhalla! daizee!

I totally want to strip my 15. Just the blade, mind you. Yeah.
Maybe there's some citristrip tucked away in all these bundles of solvents...

Here is something a little different. Over Christmas my Mom bought a wax stamp/seal for Christmas cards, and well, when it came it was the handle, the stamp, a piece of all thread and thats it. The handle was not drilled or tapped for the thread, the thread pushed the seal out of the stamp head, among other issues. So she sent it home with me and said "fix it" lol. SOOO. I took it, drilled the handle for the thread, epoxied into one solid piece, added some flair with a piece of micarta and vulcanized spacers, "antiqued" the handle with sanding, peening, flaming, and buffed with my beezwax concoction. Then I took the die/stamp head/face/whatever, joined it with epoxy, filed in a orientation notch, then buffed to a mirror polish. All in all I think it came out alright. The head unscrews so you can add additional stamps or whatever you want to do. Hope she likes it. Fun little quick project to take my mind off how nuts things have been lately.

I HAVE HEAT IN THE SHOP!!!

and although I still don't have a metal-cutting bandsaw, where there's a will there's a way. Found a Craftsman Dremel I gained in the move. First knifey stuff happening in the new shop. Now to finish the EXISTING projects!

My snow day was put to good use...after I dug the cars out of the street this morning, as well as 2 of the neighbors. I got these put together. The deer one was just for fun / to put into inventory. The other is a gift for my nephew's birthday.

Cool pens Nate, I especially like the one with the sword!

In other news. Starting to get some inventory for blade show. Trying to make orders and put back inventory. Plus, unlike the last two years, I do not plan on closing the shop to new orders, full steam ahead. Turn around times are getting better, I think I might finally be getting a grasp on this shit! Lol.
