Thanks man. You believe that poor little woman has put up with me for 7 years?

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

That's about all I like that Gerber makes, is multi tools. I also have a Gerber Diesel. Nice tool. Here's a few photos of the Skeletool CX, and Dime:

Happy anniversary! Which of the two is your favorite for just being able to stick in a pocket and go?

Are you alluding to my ding-a-ling or the Gorillaphant? :D

Both!

....Now what am i going to use either for???? Who knows LMAO

Mostly I use my heat-gun for warming up leather and barge cement. And of course, drying my long, luxurious locks after my monthly shower... but I don't think you have to worry about that too much. :D

Thanks man. Just got them, so can't really say. I'll carry the Gerber in my pocket, and the Skeletool in my backpack though. That's what i bought it for. I have a Wave I carry on rare occasion.

HAHA, Its amazing how long they can put up with us.

May this year will make 10 years for us. And we only knew each other for 3 months before we got married. But we were both in the Army at the time and in different units and wanted to stay at the same location... Plus get BAH and be allowed to live off post. The only way to live off post was to be married, and if your married they give you a housing allowance which basically pays for your home.... It just made sense.. 10 years later and here we are.

Yea i didnt really have a need for a heat gun... But it looked new and only cost 8 bucks so i couldnt pass it by.

Im sure ill find a use for it eventually. I use to use one for shining my boots in the army, only time i ever used one.... But then they went to the ACU uniforms and i no longer had to shine boots... I remember seeing like 4 heat guns just left in the laundry room when a unit deployed. Nobody had a use for them once we didnt need to shine boots LOL

Awesome man. I was married for 5 years the first time around. It was a bad deal all the way around. We didn't get along that well, and for some reason thought getting married would fix everything, haha. Wrong. Got a keeper this time though. She loves the same things I do. On our anniversary, we hiked, used knives, slingshots, etc. She has just as much fun as I do.

I'm making a sheath for a friend of mine. First, though, this thing be needin' sum pimpin'! This was a knife he had in the service.

I have my work cut out for me.

The only thing that I see that needs to be done is the removal of the bad paint job. Other than the funky paint, it looks like a very good condition 5" JPSK, made between 1961 to Nov 1966.

Well the dog didn't make a mess if the house after eating the petroleum jelly lotion stuff. It must not have been enough to mess her up too much. Her #2 did look a bit slimy today though.

Managed to catch a handful of walleye today and brought a few home. Managed to get the Gator stuck multiple times trying to get up the hill/bank of the lake. I think it took about 45 minutes to actually get off the lake.

Its always nice when you enjoy the same things!! Makes quality family time easy and fun for everyone.

Green or Black?? Green is my favorite color, followed closely by black.... But in this case black may be a better fit.

What do you guys think looks better?

Im thinking i can take the same type of vinyl they use to wrap cars and guns in camo and stuff and use a little to personalize my lighter without doing anything to permanently change it. I found small rolls of the stuff in Kryptek patterns, 2" X 60" Rolls for 7 bucks. Ill have plenty left to play with.

I kinda like both, but I think I would go with black.

I'm pretty happy about it too!! Lol

It was a pretty good day. I didn't even really mind getting stuck. It was actually kinda fun. If it would have taken much longer, my attitude might have changed though. I do believe I'll avoid going on the lake in that spot again until there are a set of tracks instead of wheels on the Gator. It belongs to the farmer I worked for this fall and he's on vacation for a week, so he told me to go ahead and use it to get on a part of the lake where I couldn't get with my pickup. If I knew where the set of tracks were I'd put them on before he got back to say thanks.
