I have a Gerber Auto that I was issued it is still my main carry folder. S30V heavy duty aluminum handle lock up is rock solid. Made in the USA maybe its just military spec stuff that is good but bash on Gerber all you want mine will stay in my pocket. Oh yeah it has some narly road rash on the pocket clip now......

My first "decent" knife was a gerber gator. That thing is a TANK of a folder. I think I still have it around here somewhere.

I let a Gerber lie at the Small Fart clearance. Strike one: partly serrated. Strike two: Bear Grylls. Strike three: Made in China.

I've got a Gerber fillet knife that is fine though. Good grippy handles and nice flex.

I got a Bear Grylls knife from a secret santa last year, I passed it off to my brother since he would appreciate that kind of thing, and he says it's great. I'll take his word for it.
