Eli makes some top notch stuff. He is good people too! I need a sheath from Julio next. I already have from Eli and Al.
Anybody want to recommend a tactical type back pack? I'm comparing the 5.11 rush 72 to a spec ops THE Pack. I'm liking the organization in the rush 72, but the spec ops (i just found this PAC b/c of this forum) is made in the USA. I thought i was all set to order the 5.11 earlier today. Anybody care to help?

Yup i have some Azwelke, and now will have some of Eli's work.
Id also love some of 710s kydex, but i really wish he had a scrapyard 1311. His leather/kydex mix with the dangler would look so awesome with this knife.
Plus its so big, and doesnt come with a sheath so i need one before i can comfortably take it out and use it.

I am really digging this little Leatherman Sidekick with a pocket clip that I picked up for a Jackson.
Built a couple of cornhole platforms today. Anybody got a 6" hole saw I can borrow?

My Spec ops has been to Hell and back a few times. In and out of planes helicopters and humvees. Then strapped to motorcycles thrown and drug all over the place. If you want a sturdy go anywhere pack get it.

I read about a couple breaking, that SUCKS!!! Was yours defective you think?
Atleast it was replaced, Did they put your JYD number on the replacement one too?
I like how leather looks A LOT, but i just cant get into it on my users. I scratch it up before i even get it outside, then i stain it somehow, im rough and the ends start coming apart or the thread gets loose and starts to unravel, after a while it starts to stink because i spilled beer all over it... hey maybe thats how it got all stained lmao, now i have only tried 2 leather sheaths but my luck with both was not good. And it sucks because leather looks a lot better than kydex in most cases. But with kydex i can just wash it with soap and water, let it dry and go about my business and it seems more scratch resistant and the scratches that do happen blend in easily due to texture of the kydex.
Leather would be good for me on a safe queen. Something i couldnt ruin because i didnt use it lmao

If thats mayo i can only imagine how disgusting that was, and i feel bad for your insides. I see plenty of other edible stuff in the picture, even your socks are more edible. If you are not starving why would you do that to yourself? It looks so thick... please tell me that is not mayo....

So flies are getting annoying and today was trash day so everyone had their trash all on the sidewalk and when i opened the door to take my trash out this morning like 20 flies bombed thru my door.
Well i was trying to put up a couple of those fly paper traps on my ceiling. The ceiling however is right over 10 feet high. Im 5'8... So i was standing on the arm of my couch, something i would of yelled at my kids for, trying to hang this damn trap that was sticking to my arm the whole time and even standing on the arm of the couch full stretched i just barely reached with my fingertips.....and then my foot slipped!!!
For some reason i tried to use my hand to support myself... on the ceiling that i couldnt reach.... Yea it was bad lmao. well i felt a little pull around my shoulder and now i can barely lift my arm, or turn my head, or look straight up. i feel sharp pains trying to lift my arm.....
So im sure i pulled something but im wondering if there is any reason to go to the hospital? I mean i dont think they can do jack for a pulled muscle? And i dont take pain killers, so is there any reason to go really? My wife is of course a wife, so she is all like you need to go to the doctor blah blah blah, and im all like i dont like people blah blah blah... As long as im still the pain is very very minimal. But i have to put the keyboard on my lap because it hurts to lift my arm up to the desk....so what say you?
Ice? heat? make wife give full body massage? Go see the doctor?

Advice for the domestic traveler: don't ever describe a 'bean bag toss' as 'corn holing' in New England. Unless you want people to keep their distance. It was extremely awkward when this came up in my former corporate office several years ago.
