Why have knife sales skyrocketed

Knives are hand powered. My wife and kids have all asked in that "tone" we've all heard before, "Why do you have a box of machetes in the garage?" The answer is always the same. Oh, that's just in case we run out of ammo.
If you're working now, there's a good chance you're working more and earning more than ever. And although guns are selling at a ridiculously high rate to say the least, I will buy exactly zero guns to sit and look at. I'm glad for all the gun and ammo sales, that's great. I'm just not taking part. $1,000+ for a case of ammo? No, thanks. I feel like I'm not alone on this one.
I am, however, buying knives and enjoying it. I'm like, about done though, I mean it, seriously, I'm running out of places to put them. Maybe I need to start a thread on where to store knives...

When did you "bump heads" with this guy?

In the last few weeks. Someone is going after the knives I am. And it's obvious it is one person. I know because I get beat just above my highest price so no one else was bidding. So either seller had another account and uses it to upbid his sale or someone is just going after the same it's I am.

I thought you are making a joke. There are people who think zombies could be real? Crazy. :)

Ophiocordyceps unilateralis...a fungus that infects ants, takes them over and basically turns them into zombies. Yea, it's not humans, but there ARE examples in the wild of animals becoming "zombies". That's basically the basis for the video game series The Last of Us...a fungus makes the jump to infecting humans and turning them into mindless killing machines in the name of reproduction. Probably a long shot, but if it happened in real life...whew! That would be a scary thing.

Should I sell the knives and stock up on ant repellent?

JK & sorry for the OT.
