Why isn't the Game Warden a Production blade?

I can't for the life of me figure out why the Game Warden was not released as an offering directly on the Busse website. They did it with the Leaner Street and Active Duty. Just look of all the thickness/finish/handle/serration combos we've seen at the Company Store in limited runs. I'm getting a little more than irritated with the way they're posted up on the site and are gone within a matter of minutes.......just had to vent.....:grumpy:

Look on the bright side, if you score one it goes in the mail the next day.

Just one of them things you gotta live with.

Maybe they will be available in feb.

Seems to me this is the same reason you dont see everyone driving around in Ferrari's. If they were always there, there would not be anything special about them. Not to mention the quality of the steel and the design.

I call 'em Stealth Wardens. I hear a lot about 'em, I see pictures of them owned by other people, but they seem to come and go well below my radar!! I'm gonna keep my eye open for one of the orange ones though!! Those are sweet!

Personally, I like the way they make it to market. It's pretty unique, but seems to work for Busse and Skunk, otherwise they would do it differently.

I have never failed to snag one when I am trying for one. it is pretty easy, just hit f5. . .f5. . . f5. . . and then *click*.

or us lil' piglets can wait 'til some scraps drop from a Hog's jawls on the For Sale forum :) OJGW? I'll take it!!!

Really it is pretty sick how they sell out so fast. If people are really that crazy about giving out their money jerry should wise up and make more knives!

I got pretty frustrated myself last night . Although I really wanted to purchase a warden from the store I think I might just as well stick with customs, I find the secondary market to expensive to purchase a warden I can get a decent little custom for that money .

If it comes down to quality vs. quantity, I know what side of the fence I would come down on.

Well this is one tough f'ing horse. No matter how much it gets beaten it just will not die.

Must be an Infi horse.

I bet Jerry can sell more this way.

Honestly, if it was a regular "order what you want" blade, I'd get one. MAYBE two. That's it.

I've got 1 in possession, 3 more on the way. I'm dumping back one, but I may wind up with three. . . for now. Who knows what will happen if/when we get el tigre pictures. (El Tigre - like that Skunk? Is it worth just saving me one???? Huh? Huh? Huh????? I don't even want it free, I just wanna stop chasing the danged things!)

Would Jaxx have ordered 27 from a regular production run? Probably not. Maybe, but probably not. I think Jerry is having fun putting different scales on these and then shipping htem out. That's cool.

My only problem is that some nights I'm here when the trough opens. Other nights? I'm SOL. And I need another Warden like a hole in the head. . . but if a pic of El Tigre comes out before I get my latest order in hand, I may get hoggish and hold until I see if I get one of the newer ones.

Jerry is brilliant. Skunk is loving it. All is well in Busse-dom.

Oh, and if I were Jerry (and I'm not - I have no idea of demand/supply/profit - nuttin), I'd make another 3,000 of them Skeleton Wardens. I suspect that may be the most popular size.

I feel your pain. I have yet to see one at the store as well. But I am east coast and by the time skunk puts them up I am in bed. Also I flatly refuse to pay the moronic prices people are asking for on the aftermarket for this huge production tiny little blade.

I wish I had more time to fart around on my cmputer, but my work isn't sitting behind a computer so I miss a lot of the stuff.
