That's a Bark River Bravo 1.
It's a really nice knife. It's a little big for my taste but of that style of knife it really can't be beat.
Of those there, I'd compare it to the Swamp Rat there, the black one because they are of a similar type style. They don't look alike but if you held them you'd know what I mean.
However if you compare the Howling Rat to the Bravo on cutting performance there is no comparison. The Howling rat has a really steep edge which MIGHT be good for durability but makes it vastly inferior to the Bravo 1 for CUTTING STUFF. Also on the Bravo 1 the edge comes all the way down to the handle almost so you have tremendous leverage for cutting where the choil thing on the Swamp Rat removes about an inch of the blade:thumbdn:
At present, if it's sure to rain, the F-1 goes. Otherwise, it's A Bark River Aurora (gotta avoid hard feelings). Both great knives.
