Why Oso Grande will never see a dime of my money

Did not see a comment where they insulted anyone. Could you please copy and paste the convo?

Also, why should they honor expired sales? Its great if they do but not necessary.

I want Shell to honor their 1990 gas prices, how insulting that they dont. Guess i was late to the party.
 
hey sky pilot.not to offend you but i think you dont know how to read youtube comments.The person who was referencing your budget or ability to pay wasn't Oso Grande it was a different commenter! jees you shouldn't disparage a business unless you're sure.

OG puts a YT vid up on 6/30/15 stating the BT II is on sale.
The next day, I am ready to buy and they tell me the sale ended yesterday, 6/30/15
WTF kind of shit is that?

Oso Grande refused to honor their price, thereby losing a customer for life and DShiftlet01 assumed I couldn't afford the extra $10.00 for the BT II

Poor show all the way around, especially after OG stated a price but didn't list an expiration date for the sale.

Don't know if DShiftlet is affiliated with OG and I may have jumped the gun, but OG pulling the sale without notice is reason enough.

I just stumbled across the thread and it reminded me of their poor business practices.
I buy several knives per year and if OG honored their sale, even after the arbitrary date that no one knew of, they would have had a customer for life.

I mistakenly assumed DHiftlet was associated with them but it appears not.

I woke up in a bad mood this Am due to lack of sleep and posted this, but I will contact Dhsiflet and call him a prick.

Basically, they announced a sale, didn't list an expiration date and ended the sale the same day as they listed it.

First, I'm not a big fan of Oso Grande, but mostly cause I can't stand the guy who does their reviews....talk about irritating.

That said, Oso Grande (or any other business for that matter) has no obligation, whatsoever, to give you advance notice of the end of a sale offer. What...You expected them to read your mind and send you a personal email, advising you of the end of the sale?

Second, Based on what I'm reading, and your overall attitude, of course, I wouldn't WANT you as a customer, at all, most certainly not for life, as I'm quite certain the time spent dealing with your inevitable, whiney ass, complaints, would not justify the tiny profit margin you might offer with your occasional knife purchase. And you're welcome to call me a prick along with Dhsiflet, who clearly recognized your true colors as well. Oso Grande should be thankful.

Plus I must say if price is your main motivation you can usually beat a dealer at an auction site. If i buy from a dealer it's something not so readily available elsewhere...even big box stores websites carry quality brands now like coldsteel,spyderco,buck etc. This is capitalism and businesses can do what they want in light of competition .If what you believe is true and they suck they will go out of business.

Great job of giving the guy some free advertising.

OSG comes across very professional in their review. The OP, not so good.
