Why Spyderco is unhealthy

The new antipsychotics work very well in cases like this. May I suggest Zyprexa.

We're here to help,

I hate Spyderco, they've taken all of my money! :D

Seriously, several people I know have commented on the look of the blades, but most of this small group have commented on the reliability and well make of Spyderco knives after they've used them. I own a fair amount of Spydies, and am in the market for more. I am also saving, slowly but surely, for some Chris Reeve knives, especially the Sebenza.

Red from me to you :).

I must be the only one here who doesn't care for spyderco. To me they all look like an evolved buck 110. Wasnt Sal the first one to use a pocket clip on a knife? Why didn't he trademark that? With all the makers putting pocket clips on their knives why aren't you myerco fans crying about that too along with the hole "ripoff" issue? Wow another lockback that looks the same as all the others, lets buy six of them! Yes i own a spyderco (spyderfly) I dont really care for it. Not very good for flippin or carrying. I will give credit to Sal for being on the forums and at least listening to what people have to say about his knives. Maybe he can tell me why it seems like all the spyder fans enjoy bitching and moaning about other knife companies a lttle too much ?

:thumbdn: BMnut has got some problems.

You have made some posts where you shat the Spyderco name, and recently CS.   :D

Hows that for Bitch'n

Seems to me that you are bitching and moaning about Spyderco. The pot calling the kettle black.

I bet Buck wishes they had "evolved" the 110 (a great knife in its own right  ) to look like a Spyderco! They'd have cornered the market if they had! ;)

If you bothered to research a little (like Sebenza4ever), you'd know the answer to that one.

Why do you have it then? Are you one of the generous types who likes to contribute money to companies he/she doesn't "care for"? :D

Richly deserved red chiclet coming your way. ;)

I just had to delete what I originally said because I realised that this is not in W&C. Maybe it should go there!

I have never considered buying a spyderco knife, they just look a little too strange for me. It is my opinion that you can only dis knives you own, and knife makers whose knives you own a number of. I would be perfectly happy to bash gerber, whose knives I have used 6 of.

badly thought, unintelligent screeds always bother me.

Sorry, i had to clear the air, its gone on long enough with you myerco fans. No im not like serbenza4ever, im not going to keep going with you guys .I said what i said and now im done. I dont care for syderco as a company nor do i care for their knives and their fanatical followers. Do you guys have a compound somewhere? Maybe in Waco? Let the bashing begin

I bet you're not going to sleep tonight worrying about that one! :)

I can see why someone could dislike spyderco. Some of my friends think the blade design is a bit weird looking and don't really like how they look (they're starting to get used to it and they're seeing a few blades they like). I'll admit they do take a little getting used to but I started liking the design after while of looking at them. I chose the endura for myself because it was the most knife for the money. Heck I'd love to get a nice benchmade folder but I'd like to not be in debt more. Of course, it doesn't keep me from lovin my EDC endura, I'm digging the click of the lock when I flip the steel open. :D
