Why Spyderco is unhealthy

Wow - I recently got my first Spyderco. I own Benchmades, Emersons and far too many customs. I think the knife is great. In fact I bought two other Spydercos and a Byrd in the last week and I'm looking for more. I always thought they were too inexpensive to be any good - wish I'd got into them a long time ago. I wouldn't have so much money tied up just sitting in my safe, because I'm afraid to damage them.

FYI - the main conference room at Spyderco HQ is called the "Al Mar Room." Nuff said.

I think this thread may have been started just to get a rise, which it did.

If it is serious I'd rather have a Sebe than a Spydie but both are very useable well-made knives, IMHO.

With all the different knife manufacturers to choose from let's not criticize one in particular since there are so many options other than their brand of knife.

Lastly, if you think you can do better get some buddies together, raise the bucks and start your own company (money talks, BS walks). Show them how it's done!

To the starter of this thread....

Good bye, good luck, good riddance :thumbdn:
